How to Treat Knives

Using A-R-F-T on knives is awesome in rust prevention!  Place knife into a Ziploc bag and add enough A-R-F-T solution to coat the knife.  Set this in a sunny place where it has time to heat up.  Let sit for 24 hours and wipe down. We here at A-R-F-T have had numerous people call about how well their knives hold up with no oiling for years and no longer have rust issues.  This goes back to what A-R-F-T does.  It does not just an oil that coats.  It permeates deep into the metal preventing rust formation.

How to Treat Two Stroke Motors

Two stroke motors may need some attention for noise reduction and compression loss.

Run the motor up to operating temperature, then shut the motor off. Remove the spark plug and position the piston at TDC. Fill the cylinder chamber to the top with A-R-F-T. Hand rotate the motor to BDC and add 3 ounces of A-R-F-T and let the motor cool off completely. When motor is completely cooled off, insert the spark plug, and start the engine. At this point the motor will smoke – this is normal. Run the engine until smoke clears.
